Overview
Error CMN.ATO.TRT.432728 states:
"Net non-primary production income/loss amount is present without total business income non-primary production (Gross payments where ABN not quoted, Gross payments subject to foreign resident withholding (excluding capital gains), Assessable government industry payments, Other business income."
This can be caused when a value exists in Label R under Business income and expenses total while Labels D, B, F and H under Income are blank.
Solution
The following steps can be used to resolve this validation error:
- Review the Non-primary production Income and Expenses in Section B to ensure they match the total displayed in Label R.
- Reverse the period and regenerate the tax return to ensure all values in the Income and Expenses section are up to date.
- Enter "0" into any of the income labels then reattempt to validate the tax return.
