How to use the Ai Tax Validation Assistant
How it works
After validating the tax return, if validation is unsuccessful, the Ai Tax Validation Assistant can be accessed via View ATO Error.
Selecting View ATO Error displays all validation errors that are currently preventing the entity from lodging the tax return.
Selecting More Details provides an AI-generated explanation outlining why the validation error occurred and the steps required to resolve it.
In the top-right corner, the Key Figures table contains links to the specific fields in the tax return that are causing the validation errors. Selecting a link will take you directly to the relevant field on the Tax Return.
The AI Assistant returns a generated solution based on the entity's validation errors. The information presented in this solution includes:
- The relevant Tax Return error code and short description
- Detailed description of the error
- A longer breakdown of the query, including guidance on steps required for resolution
- A BGL Suggestion on how to resolve the query within the software
Admins and Account Owners have default access to these AI Assistants.
Access for other users can be managed via User Roles under Settings.
- The AI Tax Validation Assistant can only provide solutions for known tax validation errors.
- The AI's response will be limited to these validation errors and the information available within the entity.
